Kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year will start on April 8, 2024. Students who will be age 5 before September 30, 2024 are eligible. Registration packets can be completed via paper (linked below) or through our online registration system.

You may fill in the paper forms online, however, you will need to print the forms for signatures. Please call the appropriate school to schedule an appointment with the secretary to go through the registration paperwork after completing the packet. If you do not have access to a printer, the full registration packet is available for pick up at your school office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Registration Packet for 2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration

This packet includes the following forms to begin the registration process for enrollment in Staunton City Schools:

•  Staunton City Schools Student Registration Form (2 pages)

•  Certification of Residency

•  Affirmation of Criminal Conviction

•  Home Language Survey (2 pages)

•  Exchange of Information Form

When you come to the appropriate school office to register, please bring the following:

•  The completed forms (listed above)

•  Your photo identification

•  Documents to prove where you reside (per the Certification of Residency form)

•  The child’s ORIGINAL birth certificate

•  The child’s most recent physical and immunization records

•  Custody documents (if applicable)

The school office staff will discuss with you any other information/documentation needed to complete the registration process.
