Seventh Grade Reading SOL will be given on Wednesday, May 16th. Please make sure your child goes to bed early on Tuesday and has a good breakfast Wednesday morning. If you have any questions, please call me at school, 332-3930. Together we can see that your child is successful.
****Students are required to read.
I hope that parents are monitoring their child's reading log. It is very important that students read 30 minutes every day and then respond. We want the students to grow as readers regardless of their reading level.
Your child should have vocabulary homework every evening. After we complete each unit we have a test which consists of sentences with context clues and analogies using synonyms and anonyms. Also, the student is graded on spelling.
